As an organization we strive to connect, support, and celebrate the players, coaches, and parents that make us a unique organization. This past weekend was a special weekend for us. It started Friday night with a coaches dinner, which gives us a chance to take a break from the craziness to socialize and build valuable bonds so we can grow together. On Saturday, we set out to hold our annual spring training, and despite the weather not cooperating, the teams still pulled through and found ways to work together to make each other better on the field. Sunday was the pinnacle of the weekend with our annual Vipers Banquet. This is a time for us to celebrate all the amazing accomplishments from the prior season. We recognize those who have gone above and beyond, we challenge each other in a contest of who can build the best table decoration, and we get motivated to do it all again. This year we had a special treat with having Ellie Cooper as our keynote speaker. Ellie understands what it takes to play at the highest level and is a sought after speaker with first hand experience playing and coaching at Florida State as well as in the pros. She now specializes in guiding players on how to embrace the mental side to gain success in sports and life. Her speech was one we all learned from and will take back to our teams as words of wisdom. The last thing we do is have all college committed and signed players come to the stage so they can be recognized for their accomplishments and celebrated for their success. This is when the reality of the power of the organization is the most obvious and we look forward to watching this class of graduates become future stars.
